Vehicle Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join the team at Soper of Lincoln.

The hours of work are 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday and 08:30 - 13:00 Saturdays (on a one in three rota basis).

The Vehicle Technician will carry out maintenance, service, repairs and replace parts.

The candidate should be a highly motivated individual with previous experience and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Salary £30,000 - £34,000 basic plus an uncapped bonus scheme.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements, follow repair instructions and diagnose issues.

• Undertake servicing and repairs to correctly diagnose faults.

• Ensure all vehicles are inspected to comply with legal and manufacturer safety standards.

• Advise Service Advisors of any additional works necessary to ensure repairs undertaken have been agreed with the customer.

• Carry out video walk round of cars relaying information to the customer in a concise and professional manner.

• Ensure all vehicles are thoroughly examined and comply with MOT and manufacturer standards.

Person Specification

Essential

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

• A UK driving license

Desirable

• Qualified MOT Tester
